The white sturgeon or Acipenser Transmontanus is the third largest species of sturgeon, after the Beluga and the Kaluga. The white sturgeon is native to several large North American rivers that drain to the Pacific Ocean. The sturgeon lives on the bottom of slow-moving rivers, bays, and estuarine areas.
